Spreading the Message of Allah

In the perspective of Ahmadiyyat in Islam, spreading the message of Allah is not optional—it is a direct commandment. The Holy Qur’an states, “Invite to the way of thy Lord with wisdom and goodly exhortation, and argue with them in a way that is best” (16:126). This is a divine instruction to engage with the world through clarity, reason, and compassion. The Promised Messiah, Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (as), emphasized that tabligh—propagation of faith—is not the work of missionaries alone but the duty of every believer. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (sa) said, “Deliver from me even if it is only one verse” (Bukhari), making it clear that each Muslim, no matter their level of knowledge, is accountable for conveying what they know of God’s truth.

In Ahmadiyyat, the act of spreading Islam is not about numbers or pressure—it is about touching hearts. We do not compel; we connect. As the Qur’an affirms, “There is no compulsion in religion. Surely, the right way has become distinct from error” (2:257). This verse underlines the principle that real faith is born in freedom. Yet, this freedom doesn’t imply passivity. There is force—but it is the force of love, reason, and spiritual truth. The mission of Ahmadis is to awaken the hearts of mankind to the beauty of Islam, to convey a message so pure and rational that souls are moved willingly. In the words of Hazrat Mirza Bashiruddin Mahmud Ahmad (ra), “Our job is not to convert, our job is to convey. Allah guides whom He wills.” Thus, in obedience to Allah, in love of His creation, and in reflection of His mercy, we carry this duty forward—with urgency, with humility, and with unshakeable resolve.
